Samsung Galaxy S25 series may be more expensive than expected!

Ana sayfa / News

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be released in 2025, may have higher prices than expected. The main reason for this is said to be the increased production costs of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and the low efficiency experienced by Samsung Foundry in its 3nm manufacturing process. Here are the details…

According to reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the cost of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor could increase by 25% to 30%. This dire situation could also be reflected in the prices of the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung plans to use the Exynos 2500 processor in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models in some markets.

However, low efficiency in 3nm production may lead to insufficient production of Exynos processors. In this case, all Samsung Galaxy S25 models may use Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which may further increase the cost of the devices.

Samsung has three options in this situation: directly increasing the price of the devices and passing this cost increase on to the consumer, keeping the prices constant and bearing the cost, or increasing the prices slightly and sharing this cost between both the consumer and the company.

As a result, it is crucial for Samsung Foundry to improve the efficiency of the 3nm manufacturing process. Otherwise, the prices of the Galaxy S25 series could be 30% higher than expected.
